Elite Force continues his rampage of ridiculously good tunes with another freebie remix. After his floor destroying TC/Caspa re-fix and top work remixing Datsik it seems only right that he tackled another dubstep biggie: Caspa. Another KMB favourite, Mele has a few more bits for us to devour. One is a track with a familiar vocal refrain and the other is his latest mix. The mixtape is for the Truants blog so instead of linking directly we’ll steer you towards their page so you can check out some of the other lush bits there. As ever though Mele is on top form, displaying depth and breadth that many thrice his age cannot muster.

It’s no secret that we love Foamo here at Kiss My Bass so for those who have been salivating over the prospect of a new mixtape we are happy to re-post his latest. It’s for the lords of all that is true and good The Fat! Club and is the first in their new series of mixtapes, which we’re looking forward to immensely. Check it right out.
Thought we’d get this one in before the weekend so you can cement it in your brains and talk about it with all your mates all weekend
Kiss My Bass Radio returns on Monday. Our new slot will be every 4 weeks starting Monday for clarity and will as ever feature 2 hours of downright filth from Fotza & Udy. Both have heaving bags (of music that is) so be sure to tune in for a smattering of house, electro, techno, dubstep, breaks and more besides.
So that’s Monday 8-10pm GMT and be sure to get in the chat for some giggles. too.
Kiss My Bass regulars will no doubt be aware of Deekline & Wizard, if not only for their massive track ‘Back Up’ which appeared on every mixtape across the land last year. So here’s the link. Rat Records is the brainchild of bassline hero Deekline and here we give you the heads up on a forthcoming release produced by Wizard himself. Ivory is the man in question, with a punk style to his rapping it adds bags of attitude to an already sneering style. Comparisons with The Prodigy abound, Hand Grenade has plenty of character of it’s own and is OUT NOW backed up by a heavy dubstep mix from Excision & Datsik. Here we include a video of the single, beatport link to buy the track, a free lo-quality track and a promo mixtape from Deekline & Ivory themselves. Get tucked in.

After a disappointing cancellation due to venue problems we are proud to announce we are bringing the new face of all things bassline to town – THE SQUIRE OF GOTHOS.
The Squire of Gothos is two badbwoy producers from Sheffield who create possibly the most elite riddims known to mankind. TSOG is a cross between speed garage, dubstep, electro house, grime and old school hardcore. Their lack of restraint or convention, teamed with the all-out wackiness, is massively refreshing and there pretty much ain’t nothing else out there quite like it. Fresh back from a tour of the States and just weeks away from playing at the mighty Bangface Weekender, we have caught em at the perfect time.
TSOG describe their sound as “free parties in graveyards, happy hardcore on downers, electro house’s evil brother, speed garage nights with more violence, dubstep with less nerds and harder drugs, hitting a woman copper in the face with a crow-bar… FUCKING BASSLINEZ!” …. safe. If you have not yet been educated on the ways of the Squire then swing by http://www.myspace.com/thesquireofgothos and fill yer boots.
Also on the bill we have London’s OOZAT who mashes up jungle, breakcore and hardcore and has had several releases on labels including Structural Damage Records and Splattercore Records. He is always a crowd pleaser and is more than likely gonna rip you a fresh one… in a nice way of course. http://www.myspace.com/oozat
Our local guest is LP from the Analgoue camp. These lads have been putting on some quality dnb parties in and around Portsmouth over the past year, gaining pleasure from deep, dark rollers, you most certainly won’t be finding no jump up round ere. LP are promising to bring the darkness and we certainly ain’t gonna hold em back!
Room 2 this time round is in the safe hands of 21ST CENTURY DUBCLASH. Popping up at various venues across the city, TOM MAYHEM and JOEL O’BREINE have been taking their dub sound system from party to party, hosting sub-riddle nights of dubstep, jungle and breakbeat. Draggin along SIDEKICK MC to keep things movin along nicely, expect a bunch of variety, a constant assortment of sounds and styles between the two areas.
