NAPT – Dateline

Self professed creators of N-Funk, the multi-award winning NAPT certainly don’t shy away from an all out banger. Lucky for us they don’t shy away from an all out freebie too. To celebrate their forthcoming EP “Narcotics/Fuck Critics” they have been kind enough to offer this beautiful slice of what to expect. The full release is out on Funkatech on June 7th. Mungo Baobab & Udy Feat. Dominique Young Unique – Hot Girl

There’s nothing like introducing a new name to the world and in a way Mungo Baobab is exactly that. Previously involved in the Under Your Nose project, this talented producer has picked up tools again and put together this bassline crunk monster with myself. The track is Hot Girl and has more squelch than a 5 day old yoghurt. Grab yourself the MP3 and spread the word, Mungo Baobab is a name you can expect to see plenty of in the future.

Miike Snow – Animal (Mark Ronson Remix)

Those of you that follow music in general will have already come across Miike Snow, an awesome trio who create great little pop tunes with big hooks. Dance inspired, dub flavoured, melancholy tinged tunes for maybe a more discerning pop fan. Their first big single ‘Animal’ was remixed by Fake Blood (as featured in Summer Bassmix), Crookers and more plus in the last couple of days this re-version has appeared. Yes it’s the one and only Mark Ronson! Maybe you thought he went away, maybe you didn’t care but far from simply doing the big band thing Mr. Ronson has taken a careful listen to the vocal and placed them in a perfect dub reggae style setting. La Roux – Bulletproof (Filthy Rehab Vs WoNK Remix)

Well you asked for it and here it is! Kiss My Bass is proud to present the exclusive first download of the utter cheekiness that is the Filthy Rehab Vs WoNK remix of La Roux’s Bulletproof. With support for these producers from the likes of Tommie Sunshine, Calvertron and Rico Tubbs plus U.S. tours planned it’s always nice to know you were there before the take off happened. Whilst there is already a few remixes of this flying around I’ve personally found it quite hard to find one that fits my set perfectly but finally that search is over.

No doubt this one will be all over the net before you can say Jacqueline but one of our favourite producers Foamo has been kind enough to pass on this exclusive remix of Franz Ferdinand’s No You Girls. There’s been plenty of remixes of this track (as with most FF tracks) and this is one that was intended as an official remix but Mr. Time got on top of our man. He’s been spinning it to good effect more recently so decided to spread the love. Top man!
